GIF Animations
Most animations started as an editorial assignment, and the online editor requested the animation as an afterthought. Having said that, If you know it in advance, it makes a massive difference in how I structure a layered file once I know the art will be animated. These are all animated in Photoshop.
Animations for Social Media
I created my first animated GIFs for promotional emails and presentations that required a seamless slideshow effect. I’m a big fan of printed holiday cards, but the fact that we all have to cut back on our carbon footprint, and that it’s very tricky to add music to a printed card, has me leaning towards the digital greeting card corner. The customized animated GIFs are ideally suited for your event invitations, new product launches, your company’s social media engagement, and to convey happy Holidays.
