While watching a report on yet another horrible violent shooting event on television, I started making x-Ray collages on my iPad as repulsed reaction to gun violence, needless war, false security, etc. Our cravings to better comprehend these violent events have led to new technology in security. Machines that make solid objects transparent fascinate me to the point that it spurred an idea of a series of "Transparent" collages. Thanks to the internet, it becomes possible to play with images from the very first x-rays photos by Wilhelm Röentgen to today's high tech security pictures.
